How do you take care of a snow bush?
The snow bush plant can live in full to partial sun, but the best color is achieved in a bright location. Soil should be consistently moist and not allowed to dry out. The bush is tolerant of any soil, including sand, but it must be kept watered. Salt air or saline soil will harm the plant.
How do you trim a snow bush?
Snow Bush grows quickly and will get quite large if not pruned. Cut the stems with sharp pruners to avoid tearing them. Make the cut just above a leaf node at a 45° angle.
How do you grow an ice cream bush?
Snowbush prefers part-sun and humus rich, well-drained soil. Plant snowbush in a container, mixed border or massed planting, especially under a cluster of large palms or evergreen trees.
Is Snow plant poisonous?
Snow Plant (Sarcodes) - the stalks are cooked like asparagus, but this is a protected plant. Stinging Nettle (Urtica) - cooked leaves and stems are a spinach substitute.
