How do you grow Bunchberry?
Although bunchberry prefers shade, it will tolerate some light morning sun. If you have acidic soil, this plant will also be right at home. Be sure to add plenty of compost or peat moss to the planting area. Bunchberry dogwood plants can be propagated by seed or cuttings.
What does a Bunchberry look like?
A dense cluster of small greenish-white to purplish flowers form above the leaf whorl. They consist of 4 large (1 - 2 cm long), showy, tinged, white to purple petal-like bracts that appear in early summer. When the fruit develops, it is red, fleshy, and grows in a terminal cluster; ripening by midsummer.
